August Recap

We are all pleased to be farewelling the Winter months and looking forward to Spring.


Despite the weather and the ongoing health challenges that have impacted our schools in all parts of the country, the superb educators in our network have continued to provide opportunities for our young people and the wider community.

This cohort will start Friday 14 Oct (in the hols) and then be on Wednesdays 19 Oct-7 Dec. 

Kootuitui ki Papakura is delighted to welcome a new facilitator, Aina Masina, to the team.

Aina has been DP of a large primary school and has recent secondary teaching experience.

Aina will be working alongside the Health and the Homes strands in the Kootuitui ki Papakura cluster and will be supporting the six kura.

Uru Mānuka’s dedication to improving reading within the cluster this year has seen the Literacy Leaders released to work with the Leaders of Learning each term to drive this important mahi. This term’s focus is a cluster-wide book week and a launch within our schools of our ‘Uru Mānuka Loves Reading’ site.

The amazing

 Anne Sinclair is back! Our talented mentor, coach, and professional supervisor has been through a long health journey and we are delighted to have her back on board.

Anne has modelled determination, resilience, and the power of incredible positivity this past year and we are delighted she is back.
